Expose mechanisms, not enemies
Corruption is entropy export. The Ledger maps the machinery of harm without ever dehumanizing a person. Name the loop — not the villain.
How to map a predatory loop
A predatory loop is any arrangement where one node extracts more than it returns and exports the difference onto others. To map it honestly, answer six questions — about the mechanism, never about a person's worth.
Who pays?
Trace the real cost to the people who actually bear it.
Who benefits?
Follow the surplus to whoever captures it.
Who bears the risk?
Identify who absorbs failure when things go wrong.
Who can appeal?
Check whether the harmed have any real path to redress.
Who audits?
Find who is empowered to inspect — and whether they are independent.
Who repairs?
Determine who is bound to restore what was broken.

A worked example
- Mechanism
- A lender charges compounding fees that exceed the borrower's capacity to repay, then resells the debt.
- Who pays
- The borrower and their dependents, in escalating amounts.
- Who benefits
- The originator and downstream buyers of the debt.
- Who bears risk
- The borrower alone; the originator has already been paid.
- Who can appeal
- No effective path; terms were opaque at signing (A1 breach).
- Standard verdict
- Fails A0 (exported cost) and Non-Parasitism. Repair: transparent terms, capacity limits, real appeal.
Defamation safety: map mechanisms and roles, not named individuals. Do not publish accusations against specific people. Follow a redaction and privacy protocol; when in doubt, describe the pattern abstractly.

The Ledger is turned inward too. Every change to the framework is logged in the open — dated, explained, and attributed to a status.
