The Audit Chamber
The Standard Is Not a Cult
Trust is not asked for — it is earned by making every safeguard visible. If it cannot be corrected, it is not the Standard.
What this project is
- A philosophical, constitutional, and moral framework.
- A speculative governance architecture and thought experiment.
- An open, ownerless, forkable public Standard.
- A library of mechanisms for lawful, nonviolent repair.
- A call to service, accountability, and self-correction.
What this project is not
- An active sovereign government or political movement.
- A cult, personality movement, or dynasty.
- A prophetic, Mahdist, messianic, or divine-appointment claim.
- A militia or any call to violence or seizure of power.
- A replacement for scholars, courts, or legitimate institutions.
The No-Claim Creed
The founder is not above the Standard
“I claim no prophecy, no divine appointment, no sovereignty, and no immunity. I hold fewer privileges and heavier liabilities than anyone. The work is ownerless. Correct it, fork it, and let it outlive me. The Standard governs; I do not.”
Anti-Cult Charter
The red lines
These are structural, not decorative. Any group violating them has left the Standard, whatever it calls itself.
- The Standard is above every person.
- No person is a sacred authority.
- No prophetic, Mahdist, or messianic claim.
- No divine-appointment or dynastic claim.
- No secret oaths and no sacred titles.
- No private loyalty and no worship of any leader.
- No hidden funds; no donations to the founder.
- No coercion, no violence, no harassment.
- No leader immunity; the founder is not above the Standard.
- No uncorrectable document; everything is versioned.
- No religious ruling without qualified scholarship.
- No political action without lawful review.
Public Correction Ledger
Version history, in the open
Every correction is dated, explained, and given a status. Nothing is silently changed; nothing is uncorrectable.
| Date | Document | Issue | Correction | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2026-06-18 | The Invariant Standard | A0 phrasing implied intent; parasitism can be structural, not willed. | Reworded to name externalized cost regardless of intent. | Applied |
| 2026-05-02 | Constitutional Order | Founder clause could be read as granting a tie-breaking vote. | Rewrote the Founder Disadvantage Clause to remove any residual privilege. | Applied |
| 2026-04-11 | Master Codex | Penal passages lacked an explicit anti-literalist-cruelty guard. | Added a standing dignity-and-due-process warning to Mutashabihat entries. | Applied |
| 2026-07-01 | Invariant Filter | Filter output risked being mistaken for a legal ruling. | Educational-only disclaimer made permanent and prominent. | Under review |
| 2026-07-05 | Peace Chamber (draft) | Language could imply authority to represent governments. | Non-state humility clause proposed for every peace template. | Proposed |
